Qualification Management
WMA stated off providing tool build management and qualification service to our key customers. This service is for customers who buy tools (plastic injection mold, stamping die, die cast mold, compression mold, etc) from Asia. WMA provides “On the ground” engineers to manage the manufacturing and qualification process.
WMA local team will work on behalf of customer’s tooling or production engineers on the ground. Conduct weekly or bi-weekly visit to the manufacturing plant to check, verify the progress status and resolve engineering matter if any. Visit report will be sent to the customer.
Frequent communication between our team, customer and supplier ensure no outstanding matter that may affect the progress.
Tracking and witness the tool and production qualification process to ensure that supplier follows customer’s (or WMA) quality protocol & documentation. Provide report and document for customer approval to release for shipment or production.
Production Management
WMA local team will work on behalf of customer’s production engineers on the ground. WMA manager or engineer will perform weekly or bi-weekly visit to the manufacturing plant to check on the project status and generate reports to update our customer.
Communicate with customer and supplier on project requirements, schedule and engineering aspect to ensure that the supplier understand and perform as per customer’s request.
During the initial stage of the program, our team will study the customer’s production qualification process. We will verify with the supplier that they can perform and meet the manufacturing process, quality procedure & documentation as per their commitment. Provide reports and documents to customer for approval to start production.
Production monitoring on order, materials, manufacturing schedule, quality report and shipment. Our manager or engineer will visit the manufacturing plant regularly to report the progress status to our customer.
Tool Build Management
WMA local team will work on behalf of customer’s tooling or production engineers on the ground. WMA manager or engineer will perform weekly or Bi-weekly visit to the manufacturing plant to check on the project status and generate report to keep customer posted.
Communicate with customer and supplier on project requirement, schedule and engineering aspect to ensure that the supplier understand and perform as per customer’s request. Track and witness the tool qualification process to ensure that supplier perform as per customer’s (or WMA) quality procedure. Provide report and document for customer to approve tool for shipment or release tool for production.
